Spotted at SDCC2012: Sideshow Collectibles 1/6th scale Baroness 12-inch Female Figure

The Baroness is a character from the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero toyline by Hasbro, originally appearing in the first issue of the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero comic series by Marvel Comics in June, 1982. The Baroness is a villain, usually associated with G.I. Joe's enemy, Cobra. Baroness serves as Cobra's intelligence officer and lieutenant to Cobra Commander. With long black hair, black-rimmed glasses, and a black leather outfit, Baroness is a dark, sensual femme fatale whose beauty is matched only by her ruthlessness.

The Baroness has appeared at the San Diego Comic Con 2012 (SDCC2012) in full 1/6 glory and once again, credit for the pictures taken goes to Michael Crawford's Toy Review and Cool Toy Review's martin myatt who have given us a first-hand glimpse at Sideshow Collectibles next 12-inch figure from their ever growing G.I. Joe line: 1/6th scale Baroness

She comes with 1/6th scale MAC-10 and the Tavor TAR-21.

The TAR-21 (or simply Tavor) is an Israeli bullpup assault rifle chambered for 5.56×45mm NATO ammunition with a selective fire system, selecting between semi-automatic mode and full automatic fire mode. It is named after Mount Tavor, while "TAR-21" stands for "Tavor Assault Rifle - 21st Century". It is the standard issued weapon of the Israeli infantry. The MTAR-21 (Micro Tavor) was recently selected as the future assault rifle of the Israeli Defense Forces, and some infantry division are being issued with the rifle, replacing the bigger and standard TAR-21.

There are some great Baroness art and cosplay on the internet if you do a search and they are pretty amazing interpretations of the character. This Baroness is done by Adam Hughes

and this Baroness femme fatale is by Wry1 on devianart
