Kitbash 1/6 scale Gary Oldman as Norman Stansfield 12-inch Figure from "The Professional"

Having already gotten the Figure Club 1/6 scale Mad Cop 12-inch action figure (see my posts HERE and HERE), I wanted to see how the Head Play Gary version 1/6 head sculpt would look on this figure. I thought that it would be rather easy to just switch heads but that was not possible. The Figure Club Mad Cop head is pretty much attached to the 12-inch base body and not so easily removable.

So I put the Head Play Gary version 1/6 head on another 12-inch male figure body and proceeded to dress the figure with the clothes from Figure Club's Mad Cop. On a side note, the Figure Club 12-inch base body has rather loose joints and cannot really stand properly, let alone hold any dramatic pose. The hands pop out too easily from the pegs and it was quite a challenge to get the Mad Cop figure to hold onto the shotgun as seen in the earlier post.

Norman Stansfield (Gary Oldman) keeps a Smith & Wesson Model 629 revolver with a 3" barrel and unfluted cylinder as his duty sidearm. Figure Club Mad Cop 12-inch figure also comes with a walkie-talkie. Scroll down to see more pictures of this Norman Stansfield (Gary Oldman) kitbash figure

This is how the Head Play Gary head looks with the Figure Club Mad Cop attire (beige suit). Does Head Play's Gary head look more like Gary Oldman as Norman Stansfield than Figure Club's Mad Cop 1/6 head sculpt?

Stansfield calls for backup when he realizes that it won't be easy to bring down Léon the professional (hitman)

As mentioned in my earlier post HERE, the Figure Club Mad Cop 1/6th scale beige suit is very well tailored / made with fine stitching and details

Here are the close-up pictures of the Head Play 1/6th scale Gary head sculpt. IMHO Head Play's Gary head has a much better likeness and resemblance to Gary Oldman than Figure Club's Mad Cop.

Close-up shot of the 1/6 scale revolver (Smith & Wesson Model 629 revolver) which belongs to Stansfield, the same one he uses to shoot Léon from behind. But before Léon succumbs to his injury, he takes Stansfield with him.
