continued from earlier post...
Zombieland is a 2009 horror / comedy about four survivors of a Zombie Apocalypse who are traveling west, looking for a place free of zombies. Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) are sisters on their way to Pacific Playland, an amusement park which they believe is zombie-free. Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) and Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) are not so sure.
In the film, survivors usually don't share their real names for fear of getting too attached, so people are known by the city they are from. On the poster, the characters of Wichita and Little Rock are carrying a chainsaw and a shovel, items carried in the film by Tallahassee before he met the girls.
This is what Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) wore in the final battle at Pacific Playland. This 1/6 scale Tallahassee outfit / attire has been faithfully reproduced / replicated in miniature scale by VTS (Virtual ToyS) as part of their 1/6 scale Zombie Killer 12-inch action figure boxed set which I had acquired recently (see my earlier post HERE for the box design and contents). Scroll down to see more pictures of this VTS Zombie Killer figure ;p
In my earlier post, I only dressed VTS Zombie Killer in his 1/6 scale gray long sleeved shirt, blue jeans with leather-like belt and cowboy boots so that you could see what he wore underneath this snakeskin jacket.
Here I've put on the snakeskin jacket but left out the black tactical vest for later as I wanted to show how VTS Zombie Killer (tell me he's not inspired by Woody Harrelson's Tallahassee character in "Zombieland") looks with his jacket on. Scroll down to see the full outfit if you cannot wait ;p
Like I mentioned earlier, the snakeskin pattern effect on the jacket is actually printed onto the fabric before it is cut up and stitched to make the miniature sized jacket for the figure. So don't expect real snakeskin when you purchase this ;p
The jacket is quite well made with all the working zippers and I'm quite amazed at how real the snakeskin looks. You have to touch it to realize that it's not real snake skin but just printed patterns on the fabric - pretty cool
And as I have also mentioned earlier, I dislike the mismatched color of his bendy hands. The fingers are bendable for various poses but the skin tone is totally different from that of his face which should be the correct skin tone to follow. The hands look jaundiced i.e. yellowish and non-human like. Easily replaceable but it should have been corrected at the factory before being shipped.
Finally here's VTS (Virtual ToyS) 1/6 scale Zombie Killer "Tallahassee" 12-inch action figure in full gear wearing his cowboy hat, the black tactical vest over his snakeskin jacket and gray long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and cowboy boots.
Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) fires dual wield with two pistols in the shootout at the amusement park. During the battle, Tallahassee has a Nickel M1911A1 in his right hand and a Nickel SIG-Sauer P226 in his left hand.
Armed with twin pistol-gripped Mossberg 500 Mariner shotguns, Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) distracts the hoard of zombies in Pacific Playland while Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) attempts to save Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) and Wichita (Emma Stone). The two shotguns are carried in holsters (left and right versions) attached to the tactical vest on his back.

VTS Zombie Killer also has right and left-hand pistol holsters which are attached in cross draw positions on his black tactical vest. He also has two double pistol magazines as well. On his belt he carries the shotgun shell pouch loaded with four individual shotgun shells
Close-up picture of the two 1/6 scale shotguns carried in holsters (left and right versions) attached to the tactical vest on his back. Very cool looking :)
Overall, I'm very impressed with this figure and would recommend it. Lots of nice stuff and one-of-a-kind offerings not seen elsewhere.
A running gag, and a central theme throughout the film, is the list of rules Columbus comes up with for surviving in the zombie-infested world. By the end of the film, his list has thirty-three rules; but only a few are mentioned. Examples: "Beware of bathrooms", "Get a kickass partner", "Avoid strip clubs" and "Check the back seat"
Here are more pictures / shots / images of VTS (Virtual ToyS) 1/6 scale Zombie Killer "Tallahassee" 12-inch action figure, now armed with his trusty shotgun.
You can see how the shotgun shells are stored inside the shotgun shell pouch. You can even load the individual shotgun shells into the shotgun which has an empty chamber when you pump / load the shotgun. Another nice touch by VTS

Woody Harrelson is quite the actor after his breakout role in the television sitcom Cheers as bartender Woody Boyd. Some notable film characters include basketball hustler Billy Hoyle in White Men Can't Jump, a crippled bowler in Kingpin, serial killer Mickey Knox in Natural Born Killers, magazine publisher Larry Flynt in The People vs. Larry Flynt, country singer Dusty in A Prairie Home Companion, bounty hunter Carson Wells in No Country for Old Men, conspiracy nut Charlie Frost in 2012, a delusional man who believes he is a superhero named Defendor in Defendor, and Cpt. Tony Stone in The Messenger.
VTS certainly managed to capture Woody Harrelson's likeness very well and the resemblance to Tallahassee is really good.
If anything, I don't like the rolling eyes look i.e. he is always looking upwards which makes posing more tricky.
In his endless quest to find a Hostess Twinkie and kill Zombies, Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) also carries a 6 shot Winchester 1892 "Mare's Leg" with a standard lever, not the enlarged loop of other famous versions of the gun (such as the one from Wanted: Dead or Alive). Too bad this weapon is not included. To see a 1/6 scale Winchester 1892 "Mare's Leg", check out my post HERE of Triad Toys "Wanted: Dead or Alive" Josh Randall
