I think that it's good that it's not die-cast as it doesn't jack up the costs. Furthermore, with die-cast metal parts, there's always the concern of the paint chipping off. A figure made of plastic which cost less (including shipping costs) can be painted to look metallic as Hot Toys has shown us in the past. Let's not get overboard or all hyped up with metallic die-cast figures (especially the Super Alloy ones) because it only means we have to pay more money for less figures. I would rather have more figures to enjoy than have to pick and choose which ones to buy just because they are made of die-cast material but in the end, look just the same when displayed.
