IMHO This is by far the BEST 1/6 scale G.I. Joe Snake Eyes 12-inch figure EVER released! I just love the whole look and getup which of course is based on the latest incarnation of Snake Eyes as seen in the "G.I. Joe Retaliation" film released earlier this year (March 2013). A great design gets an equally great treatment by Hot Toys, proving once again that they are very good at what they do. Just wish they would stop raising their prices and charging so much for them.
Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece Series MMS192 G.I. Joe Retaliation: 1/6th scale Snake Eyes Collectible Figure specially features: Authentic and detailed fully realized likeness of Snake Eyes in his black “military ninja” bodysuit as seen in the movie; Is Approximately 30 cm tall; has TrueType body with over 30 points of articulations; Five (5) pairs of interchangeable gloved palms including: One (1) pair of fists, One (1) pair of palms for holding gun, One (1) pair of palms for holding swords, Two (2) pairs of relaxed palms
Snake Eyes' costume in the first movie "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" was a bit of a letdown. Snake Eyes wore something that looked like a full body rubber suit as his costume / outfit with pants over it and not much else. It looked like someone spray painted Ray Park's body with black paint and called it a costume. What's worse? He didn't have a mask on because you can actually see his face and lips. The only saving factor was the signature visor over his eyes which distinguishes him as Snake Eyes. You can check out the Hasbro 1/6 scale G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra 12-inch Snake Eyes (Ninja Commando) figure HERE
So I'm kind of glad that Hot Toys didn't get the license to make any of the characters from the first G.I. Joe movie (especially Snake Eyes) and ended up with the movie license for the second G.I. Joe film instead. Scroll down to see the pictures of an awesome figure that is Hot Toys G.I. Joe Retaliation: 1/6th scale Snake Eyes 12-inch Collectible Figure.
The product packaging is the standard now for all Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece Series (MMS) products. There's the slipcase cover (shown above) which when removed shows the figure in a window display style box packaging. The picture below is taken of the back of the box.
Here's Hot Toys G.I. Joe Retaliation: 1/6th scale Snake Eyes 12-inch Collectible Figure as he is seen in the box with all his weapons and accessories laid out around the figure, including all the extra hands. In this instance, there is no instruction sheet unlike the last two Hot Toys figure reviews of Black Widow HERE and Phil Coulson HERE
Check out Hot Toys G.I. Joe Retaliation: Snake Eyes 1/6 ninja figure straight out of the box without his weapons and accessories. Now this looks so much like Snake Eyes. From head to toe, he just looks the part of a "military-style ninja"with the armor over his chest, shoulder and arms plus military tactical pants, boots and pouches at the back.
Snake Eyes gets a makeover for the second G.I. Joe movie (G.I. Joe Retaliation) and it's all GOOD.
The mask and visor which is the essential part of Snake Eyes look is made perfect here and together with the new and revamped costume, he just looks totally like Snake Eyes now
Here's a look at the back of Snake Eyes with his sword sheath securely fastened on his back plus his pouches and small knife.

Snake Eyes always looked pretty cool in almost every incarnation. However the overly bulky and muscular suit that was featured in the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra costume design just lacked that finesse or stealthy build that a ninja-commando should have.
I also didn't fancy Sideshow Collectibles G.I. Joe 1/6 scale Snake Eyes figures (both versions) and never picked them up out of sheer disappointment. There's no mistaking the beauty of this Snake Eyes design / rendition.
Snake Eyes proudly wears the Arashikage Clan symbol on his right shoulder. Arashikage is a fictional ninja clan from the military-themed G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero series of comics, television shows, and action figures. The name is derived from the Japanese words for storm (嵐 arashi) and shadow (影 kage). It is central to the back-story of several prominent characters, including Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow.

Somebody put it best when he said "putting lips on Snake Eyes (as seen in the first G.I. Joe movie) is like this decade's version of giving the Batman suit nipples". This new mask design with the sleek visor incorporated really makes Snake Eyes look his best.
Check out the awesome details and finishing that is found on Hot Toys G.I. Joe Retaliation: 1/6th scale Snake Eyes 12-inch Collectible Figure. This figure for me is the BEST figure of 2013 so far!
Close-up of Snake Eyes sword sheath and pouches on his back. There's another sheath for his throwing knife / dagger, bigger pouch for rifle magazine and smaller pistol magazine pouch.
Snake Eyes has a left-hand pistol holster for the FN FNX-9 pistol. I guess he's better at wielding his sword with his right hand and firing the pistol or other firearms with his left hand.

Snake Eyes (Ray Park) can be seen using a suppressed Heckler & Koch MP7A1 submachine gun to shoot down incoming shuriken. Snake Eyes is also seen firing dual MP7A1s in promotional images for the film. The FN FNX-9 pistol is used by both Cobra ninjas and Cobra Vipers. Snakes Eyes (Ray Park) and Jinx (Elodie Yung) both take one after they secure Storm Shadow (Byung-hun Lee) in the Himilayas.
